Ambitious new owner takes helm at Kent Crisps and Kentish Oils
Kent Crisps and Kentish Oils have revealed their ambitions for exports and new product development after Laura Bounds took ownership of the company this month.
The former commercial director said she plans to add to the Kent Crisps range and develop salad dressings and mayonnaise under the Kentish Oils brand.
“My vision for the future is to forge new partnerships and products,” said Bounds. “At the same time, I plan to enter four new export markets over the next 18 months for Kent Crisps, create a global brand and promote Kent as a destination for visitors.”
Bounds has worked in the food industry for eight years and won the Taste of Kent Awards Producer of the Year in 2016.
Speaking about the new role, Bounds said: “As someone who loves the food industry and was born and raised in Kent, it brings me immense pleasure employing local people and supporting local producers.”
