Bakers invited to join Batch: South West event
The Real Bread Campaign and Brook Food are inviting professional bakers, ‘semi-pro’ microbakers and homebakers to join them on Saturday 7 July for BATCH: South West, a day of baking, learning and meeting other Real Bread fanatics.
The event will be hosted at Brook Food’s test bakery, bakery school and equipment showroom near Taunton, Somerset, and will offer producers the opportunity to hear and learn from Real Bread experts.
Producers can see short talks, Q&A and a panel discussion, as well as hands-on and knowledge-based workshops. There will be a bonfire, hog roast and veggie roast with live music and bar in the evening for producers to socialise.
Confirmed speakers include Season owner Adam Pagor, Mark Bennett, Emma’s Bread founder Emma Parking and Thoughtful Bread Company founder Duncan Glendinning.
Full event tickets are priced at £30 for early bird, £35 with supporter discount or standard price at £40. Daytime only prices are at £20 for early bird discount, £25 with supporter discount or £30 at standard price.
