Bakers & Larners unveils revamped food hall
Norfolk-based high-end department store, Bakers & Larners of Holt has unveiled its newly refurbished Food Hall following nine months of planning and development.
The refurbishment – valued at over £250,000 – opened in March this year, adding a range of new features to the department store including a bakery and patisserie department.
The food hall’s Fine Wine department, which holds over 1,100 unique wine varieties, is said to be one of Norfolk’s first providers of the Enomatic wine tasting system, allowing customers to sample the store’s vintages.
“The Bakers & Larners Food Hall and Fine Wine department being nationally recognised deserve and justify this investment, which puts them in the upper echelons of food and wine retailing in the country,” said managing director, Michael Baker.
“The newly refurbished store with the customer service team are surely the benchmark by which others should be judged.”
Following the completion of the refit, the company said store customers can continue to expect an ever-increasing range of products from local producers and around the world, coupled with highlevels of customer service and expert product knowledge.
