Millions of passengers will see some of the best Northern Irish food producers at Belfast International Airport

Belfast International Airport plans to showcase promotional material from over 30 local food and drink companies in the airport’s arrivals concourse.

This decision follows an earlier initiative to promote local food with the airport setting up the Taste Of Ulster shop. Supported by Ulster Artisans and Food NI, the shop is now a permanent feature at Belfast International, which handles more than 4million passengers a year.

Producers stocked in the airport shop include Broighter Gold Rapeseed Oil, Suki Tea, and Passion Preserved, while spirits such as Jawbox Gin, Shortcross and The Quiet Man Irish Whiskey can also be found in the airport.
