Border Biscuits unveils new look as part of £4.3m investment

Border Biscuits has announced plans to invest £4.3 million over the next 12 months as it boosts production capacity and support its new look packaging.

The Lanark-based business, which supplies both the multiples and independents, has revamped its branding and packaging of its 21-strong product range, as well as its website.

Border will soon be launching a consumer and trade advertising campaign that will feature a range of new characters, called The Biscuiteers. TV adverts will be rolled out from March.

“Our new packaging was introduced following extensive consumer research and will appeal directly to our loyal customers, who’ve supported the brand for over 30 years as well as attracting new ones to the brand,” said brand and marketing manager Lesley Ann Gray. “We have introduced a new cookie range and further new products will be added throughout the year to enhance the brand offering.”
