Camden Grocer founders behind another London food hall… this time in a hotel
The new London food hall is set to open in the new year on the ground floor of the Gantry Hotel and is offering an online nationwide delivery service in the meantime for its range of artisanal produce, high-end groceries and seasonal hampers.
Camden Grocer founders Scott Winston and Matt Bunch are behind the new brand, The Stratford Grocer & Co, based in the Stratford hotel which opened earlier this year.
The pair said: “Building on our experience of the last few years and our proud reputation for delivering unique and engaging food retail concepts, we’re incredibly excited to have the opportunity to bring the spirit of The Camden Grocer to Stratford.”
The new food hall and café with a capacity of 200 will be stocking a large range of fresh produce – including fruit & vegetable and meat, and array of Great Taste award-winning lines, premium groceries, wines, beers and spirits, and British cheeses and charcuterie alongside a plant concession and in-house coffee roaster.
“It is a great opportunity for us to reach a new audience in a new-format space,” said Bunch and Winston, “and we’re confident that Stratford Grocer & Co will be a hit with residents and workers, as well as serve as a destination for curious food folk from further afield.”
