Cannon & Cannon seeks B2B sales manager for British charcuterie
London-based wholesaler and retailer Cannon & Cannon is recruiting a business-to-business sales manager following the departure of wholesale manager Owen Davidson Knight after nine months in the post.
Co-founder Sean Cannon said the new role would differ slightly from Davidson Knight’s but would “remain focused on our wholesale offer”.
He said 2014 was set to be “a defining year” for the British charcuterie specialist, which has several London market stall locations, including one at Borough Market, plus a shop and restaurant in Brixton Village and an online shop.
“We’re keen to find the right person to ensure wholesale clients continue to get the very best products and service,” he added.
Work on the company’s new wholesale and demonstration facility at Borough Market (FFD, October 2013) is nearly complete, and Cannon also revealed for a Meat School offer a programme of “regular and one-off ‘meat adventures’, courses, experiences and mini-breaks” based around the British charcuterie sector
“It’s all to be confirmed, but 2014 should see the first students called to class,” he said.
Cannon said the new sales manager’s task would be to “consolidate and grow” the wholesale operation and reach shops, restaurants and pubs around the UK “and potentially beyond”.
Applications close on February 1, and CVs should be sent to Sean Cannon.
