Charcutier Ltd. wins Young British Foodie accolade

Bacon and sausage specialist Illtud Llyr Dunsford, aka Charcutier Ltd., has won the meat category of the Young British Foodies Awards.

The awards, now in their second year, are branded as the ‘Official List of Top Emerging Talent in Britan’ and are judged by a wide range of food industry figures including chef Yotam Ottolenghi, cook Gizzi Erskine and food artists Bompas & Parr.

Based in Carmarthenshire, Charcutier Ltd produces both British and Continental-style sausages, several air-dried bacons, and cured hams as well as supplying fresh pedigree pork.

Other winners at this year’s YBFs include mixologist Jack Bevan of North Somerset restaurant The Ethicurian, bakers Poppy & Sebastian and Freeman’s Coffee in Edinburgh.
