Elephant Gin unveils Maasai beaded sloe gin bottles

Elephant Gin has released a limited edition batch of its 2016 sloe gin in bottles adorned with a beaded bracelet from the Maasai tribe. The gin producer has been contributing 15% of all proceeds to two African elephant foundations in Kenya and enlisted the Maasai to create these limited edition bottles.

Available from Novemebr 2016, the sloe gin has a low sugar level and sits at 35%ABV, which the gin company say makes it ideally suited to mixing in cocktails.

Wild sloes are macerated in Elephant’s London Dry gin which is made using African botanicals such as baobab, buchu and the African herb lion’s tail.
