Field Fare launches three new breakfast pastries

Field FarePremium frozen food supplier Field Fare has launched a new selection of bakery lines in time for the Christmas season.

The new range includes festive panettone croissants and a blueberry plait. The former, which is made in Belgium, is said to have a “rich, buttery dough with citrus hint”, while the latter is described as a light flaky pastry filled with “juicy, sweet blueberries and creamy custard”.

The company has also included a Cornish-made cheese and bacon turnover, featuring Danish bacon and West Country mature cheddar.

“These three new additions taste amazing and really complement our existing bakery range,” said managing director Karen Deans. “We are expecting high sales volume over the festive period as customers treat the family to an indulgent breakfast.”

All three are sold loose and ready-to-bake from frozen as a luxury breakfast or convenient hand-held snack.
