Fresh Montgomery acquires FDIN
Food event organiser Fresh Montgomery, which has a portfolio that includes IFE and Speciality & Fine Food Fair, has acquired the Food & Drink Innovation Network (FDIN).
The Fresh Montgomery team said the acquisition will “strengthen FDIN’s position as the no.1 channel for industry insight & influence”. It also aims to double the network’s community over the next two years, as well as “inject enormous value to the category and drive innovation”.
Founded in 2002 by Jeffrey Hyman, well known for establishing the first Prêt à Manger store, FDIN is a “go-to” resource for food & drink professionals worldwide, including food giants Nestlé, Hovis and Thorntons.
Food industry expert and one of Hyman’s close circle of contacts Jane Milton will lead FDIN forward ensuring Hyman’s and FDIN’s heritage continues.
“FDIN is built on a generous attitude of sharing best practice, strong industry relationships and providing invaluable industry insight,” said Milton.
“From working very closely with Jeffrey, we’re looking forward to continuing his legacy and ensuring insight continues to be made accessible to all industry levels.”
