Great Taste prepares for entries 2020
As the new year approaches, Great Taste prepares for 2020 with advanced entries opening from January.
Great Taste has swelled exponentially and the entry cap now stands at 13,000 products. With the judging process spanning several weeks across sites in Devon, Dorset and central London, the awards scheme relies on the palates of chefs, food writers, food buyers and producers.
17th January 2020 Members’ Fortnight opens for entry
All Guild of Fine Food members can enjoy early access to the entry portal for two weeks. This puts them first in line to get their coveted products into Great Taste 2020. To take advantage of this, your Guild of Fine Food membership must be valid up to at least 31st January 2020. If you are taking a new membership, or renewing in time for members fortnight, then they must be received by Friday 10th January 2020. Members’ Fortnight closes 31st January 2020.
Please note: It will not be possible to become a member of the Guild of Fine Food during Members’ Fortnight.
3rd February 2020 General Entry open for entry
General entry for Great Taste opens on 3rd February and will remain open until we reach our judging capacity of 13,000 products, but not beyond 17th February. However, Great Taste tends to hit the entry cap early and we advise producers to enter products as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
Please note: The online entry form will be removed and cannot be accessed beyond midnight on 3rd February, or earlier if the entry cap has been reached. Entries are not confirmed until you have paid, checked out and received a receipt.
