Guild launches Members’ Evening initiative
The Guild of Fine Food has successfully launched its Members’ Evening initiative, with retailers and suppliers converging on Whole Foods Market’s flagship store in Kensington.
The inaugural event on June 28 saw an audience – including Halsey’s Deli, WBC, Taste Distribution and former Ludlow Food Centre MD Edward Berry – treated to a talk on Le Gruyère AOP delivered by cheesemonger Charlie Turnbull and the Guild’s Nick Crosley.
Following this initial success, the Guild is planning more of these events across the country with the next one scheduled for October 25 at Fenwick in Newcastle, which will feature tastings with Great Taste award-winners.
