New brand added to Image on Food biscuit range
Biscuit manufacturer Image on Food has unveiled a new brand called Original Biscuit Bakers which will see new product lines and existing hand-iced and decorated gingerbread.
Original Biscuit Bakers will sit under the Image on Food corporate branding and supports strong growth for the company which has seen an increase in turnover by 48% in the last three years.
The new brand, which is said to have a contemporary feel while giving a nod to its gingerbread heritage, will include a new website, packaging, product lines and a trade advertising campaign.
It will also incorporate Image on Food’s other biscuit brand, Billington’s Gingerbread.
Director Tim Hopcroft said the long-term strategy of the new brand is to diversify its product range for further growth within the business.
“Launching a new brand allows us to start incorporating other product lines alongside our already established range of hand-iced gingerbread novelties.”
“We are also investing heavily into cutting edge automated technology to support this long-term aim,” he added.
Sales director Sarah Hopcroft said, “The new branding allows us to incorporate established and new products under one brand, streamlining our marketing efforts to maximise product awareness and exposure.”
