New online artisan food market launches Christmas collection
Online artisan food market, Farmshoplarder has launched its first Christmas catalogue since debuting earlier this year.
Available from mid-October, the Christmas collection will include products from independent producers and farmers such as Campsie Glen Smokehouse, Pickering’s Gin, and Copas Turkeys. It will also offer consumers the ability to purchase hampers and food experiences, including Craft Beer tours and chocolate making.
The idea to launch the online retail store was formed by Rebecca Lacey, who launched the site in March this year during her maternity leave.
“I’ve always loved exploring farmers’ markets and local shops, but it was frustrating to go home and not be able to share those great tastes and experiences with family and friends,” said Lacey.
“That’s when I knew there was a gap in the market for a dedicated website celebrating British-made, award-winning food and drink from independent, artisan producers.”
The site aims to bring British independent producers together in one place where consumers can order food and drink to be delivered directly to their homes.
“Finding artisan food and drink producers is hard because they’re by nature small-scale,” said Lacey. “By having an online marketplace like Farmshoplarder, customers can discover a diverse range of products from across the country irrespective of where they live.”
