Rowcliffe revamps Clemency Hall cheese brand for independents
Rowcliffe has relaunched its independent-only Clemency Hall branded range of cheeses and deli items, with new packaging and a new logo.
The wholesaler’s range encompasses a newly assembled line-up of artisan cheeses, wax truckle cheeses, antipasti and olives from across Europe and the UK.
Among the cheeses are in the range are Colston Basset Stilton, Keens Cheddar and Le Crêt Gruyère while the waxed truckle range includes varieties called Smoked Splendour and Rocking the Herbs.
The company’s popular Nocellara olives will also feature under the Clemency Hall brand, as will whole Kalamata olives and marinated artichokes.
The parchment paper used on the cheeses, which features hand-drawn cheese illustrations, is biodegradable, compostable, recyclable and sourced from sustainable & managed forests.
The new branding is being applied to in-store marketing materials, packaging and on a dedicated page on the Rowcliffe website.
“Clemency Hall has been a Rowcliffe brand for several years, but we have decided to bring it to the fore and further develop it,” said Rowcliffe managing director Sunit Mehta. “The label is solely dedicated to the independent sector, delivering a much-needed point of difference.
“Clemency Hall has always brought together the artisanal producers with the expertise of the independents, this is still the rationale but with a bolder range with more length and depth.”
