Soil Association names full line-up for organic cheese showcase

Producers ranging from dairy giant Arla Foods to artisan operator Simon Weaver, maker of Cotswold organic brie, have now confirmed their attendance at the Soil Association’s organic cheese showcase in Wiltshire on March 6.

Independent deli and cheese shop buyers are being urged to attend the free afternoon event at Winkworth Farm, Malmesbury, which is designed to raise the profile of organic cheese (FFDonline, January 7).

According to Soil Association trade consultant Finn Cottle, other organic producers taking part are:

Cottle said the free tasting event was a great opportunity for deli buyers to sample the full range of British organic cheeses under one roof, ranging from traditional territorials, to goats’ cheeses and organic mozzarella.
