Taste of Kent Awards 2017 winners announced
The winners of the 2017 Taste of Kent Awards have been revealed, highlighting the best food and drink producers and retailers in the county.
Macknade Fine Foods in Faversham was awarded Local Food Retailer of the Year, while S.W Doughty won Butcher Shop of The Year.
Kent’s Beer of The Year went to Romney Amber, from Romney Marsh Brewery, and Cider of the year was awarded to Skylark from Kentish Pip.
Stephanie Durling of Produced in Kent who organise the awards said: “We would like to congratulate the winners and all the finalists. This year’s awards have once again attracted thousands of votes from across the county and beyond and the results were once again extremely close.”
