The Cress Co unveils revamped cheese range in new catalogue
A revamped cheese offering is the key focus of a new Counter, Café & Kitchen catalogue from The Cress Co.
The nationwide distributor said that category is an important growing part of its portfolio and the catalogue, which also covers a host of fresh deli items, reflects this with a range that includes cheese for cutting at deli counters and pre-packed retail formats.
The Cress Co has created a dedicated, trained cheese team to handle sales and it also plans to increase the number of producer tasting events it holds.
In addition to the cheese, the catalogue also features a range of charcuterie, olives, pies, fish, seafood, dips, sauces, pasta, soup, vegetables, pâté, puddings and dairy.
“The Cress Co. has a proven track record and the required infrastructure to offer retailers the complete package for both chilled and ambient products,” said The Cress Co buyer Nikki Castley. “We have been supplying chilled products to our customers for a number of years. We want to establish Cress Co as a credible distributor of chilled products and so will continue to further extend our portfolio providing a well-priced, high quality, diverse range of both counter and retail chilled products.”
Customers can combine orders from the new catalogue with with other chilled and ambient products to attain the distributor’s £125 minimum order value.
The distributor can deliver to businesses across the majority of the UK in its own dual temperature-controlled vans.
