Uncle Henry’s farm shop opens maize maze with NHS tribute

Lincolnshire farm shop Uncle Henry’s is set to unveil a giant 5-acre maize maze attraction, which features a special design that pays tribute to the NHS.

Opening seven days a week from Saturday 18th July, this year’s version of the shop’s maze is part of a number of new attraction at the site, which has also secured accreditation from Visit England’s “We’re Good to Go” scheme.

Tickets for the maze are £8 per person, including new farmyard crazy golf, jumping pillows and more. They must be booked online in advance at: 

With the lockdown being eased across England, Uncle Henry’s café is now also resuming normal opening hours (Mon-Sat 9:30-5pm and Sunday 10-4pm) although bookings must be made for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. Takeaways are available with no need to book.

Speaking about this year’s maze design, Uncle Henry’s general manager Graham Ward said: “2020 so far has been an extremely challenging year for everyone and we wanted to take the opportunity to do something positive with our Maize Maze design and say a big thank you to everyone working within the NHS.

“We are pleased that COVID-19 lockdown rules have been eased in time to allow us to open the Maze for the summer season and we look forward to welcoming customers to Uncle Henry’s to enjoy a COVID secure outdoor activity”.
