Valentine Warner to front Peter’s Yard promotions
Artisan bakery Peter’s Yard is teaming up with chef Valentine Warner to promote its Scandinavian-style sourdough crispbreads.
Warner will be developing new recipes as part of a 12-month collaboration, which will see him participate in a series of events. This will start with the new Scandi Feast, a midsummer festival of Scandinavian food and drink, which is being held at Harptree Court, near Bristol on June 20 and 21.
Warner will also present a series of short video for the Peter’s Yard website, giving topping ideas and new seasonal recipes, which is aimed at extending the eating occasion for the crispbreads.
The partnership runs alongside the company’s collaboration with digital publisher Great British Chefs, which started earlier this year. It is working with a number of award-winning chefs, including Phil Fanning, owner and executive chef of Michelin-starred Paris House and Anna Hansen MBE of The Modern Pantry to develop a series of recipes and videos to showcase dishes to serve with Peter’s Yard crispbread.
Wendy Wilson Bett, co-founder of Peter’s Yard said she was pleased to have developed a more formal working relationship with Warner and the other chefs, which enabled the company to utilise their skills and knowledge to create inspirational recipes and ideas.
“We are committed to building the Peter’s Yard brand across all channels and this is the start of a number of strategic relationships we have planned to further strengthen our credentials,” she said.
