CARITAS

The establishment of Caritas Rural Development in Gyulafehérvár (the legal successor of the Agro-Caritas Transsylvania Foundation in 1993) was necessitated by the unfavorable social and economic situation that developed after 1989, the recognition that the accelerated, performance-oriented life presents new methods and challenging obstacles to the farming community, the survival of the it depends on expanding their knowledge and developing their skills.
