JL Shaw and Son

We are family run farm, now in its 5th generation. Our pedigree herd of Jersey cows was established in 1968. The current herd of 240 cows are grass fed in summer and are housed in straw yards and fed on home grown forage in the wintertime. The Jersey milk produced averages 5.5% Butterfat and 4.1% Protein. The milk is sold to Longley Farm Dairy and direct to customers through our 2 local vending machines and delivered to local restaurants. We focus on high welfare, quality and environment x
