The Portsmouth Distillery Co makes artisan Rum and Gin at the ancient monument that is 18th Century Fort Cumberland, surrounded by the sea and centuries of naval history. This is the first distillery in UK history to be making Rum from scratch from sugar cane juice imported from Costa Rica and ageing it in barrels.
