The Salford Rum Company was founded by best friends James Harrison and Tommy Gaughan in 2018. Spotting the surge in the popularity of craft gin, yet being avid rum enthusiasts themselves, they spotted a gap in the market for premium, locally produced rums. The Salford Rum Company pays homage to the rich history, cultural heritage, and vibrant community of Salford Docks during the late 1800s and early 1900s.
