Our story begins in the early 1900s with the founder Giuseppe Bertani, with only 20 Alpine brown cows producing milk which, together with that of a few dozen other breeders delivered to the Villa Aiola cooperative dairy, was transformed into cheese in the typical shape of Parmigiano Reggiano.
