The Lyth Valley Damson Company

The Lyth Valley Damson Company was established in September 2025 following the bumper harvest of damsons in the internationally re-known Lyth Valley in the Lake District, where damsons have been grown and harvested for centuries. We grow, pick and harvest our own damsons and produce Damson Fruit Cheese by creating a deep and intense flavour after a slow cook of the damson puree. Sugar and water are the only other ingredients. We sell Damson Fruit Cheese to outlets in Cumbria and the UK.
