During the early 1990’s Neill, with his sister Margaret-Ann, used the raw milk to diversify into a specialist raw milk cheese business. Then in 1998 Neill, and wife Jackie, realised that difficulties continued to face dairy farmers and with a background of falling milk prices Neill and Jackie started to experiment with ice cream recipes and, from their research, realised they could produce superb ice cream and at the time would be the only people between Yorkshire and Aberdeenshire doing so!
