Claire moved from Ireland to London and started her first job as a food buyer aged 23. Frustrated by the lack of clean, low sugar granolas, she began making her own. Realizing a market gap, Claire quit her job, secured a £10K Virgin Start Up loan, and began producing granola in a North London kitchen. To this day Paleo Foods Co is still independently owned, run by a small but mighty team of 3 women.
