Herbert’s first opened Easter weekend 2007, small but perfectly formed. My aim was to meet the high standards of the 5 year old me…selling wondrous treats that not only looked & tasted delicious but were good for you too, like our handmade & hand wrapped Bert’s Nice Lollies. Not forgetting some decadent & delicious items like our handmade Herbert’s Gypsy Tart ice cream. Based on a Kentish dessert, this rich and velvety ice cream was invented by us & draws people from far & wide!
