TROSKAETA ELKARTE ZIBILA

We are cheese makers of the village called Ataun, located in Goierri valley of the Guipuzcoan region of Spain. We produce cheese at Aranberri farm, and our Latxa sheep feed on the lower pastures from November to June. From June to November again in the high pastures of Aralar. Ours is the third generation in the family who follow this profession. We produce our cheese with sheep's milk and sell it under the Idiazabal designation of origin and under the name TROSKAETA.
