Angus Alchemy

The moonshiners at Angus Alchemy have worked their wizardry to capture the essence of the clootie dumpling in a bottle. The ingredients of this much-loved Scottish pudding - including mixed fruit, spices, honey and treacle - form the basis of the spirit, giving it traditional charm and layers of flavour. It can be served neat over ice or used as a base for cocktails. 
 

The flavours in this moonshine were inspired by the Clootie, an 18th century Scottish fruit pudding. It’s a heady concoction made with dried mixed fruits and flavourful spices then sweetened with treacle and honey. 

A versatile and balanced drink, it can be served straight from the bottle or with a mixer of your choice.
