Chutce Hot Chutney

Made with Ghost chilli peppers, this traditional Indian chutney has an initial freshness from the mint, followed by an explosion of tamarind tanginess and an extra kick of raw heat. 

The spices are balanced so they don’t overwhelm the rich onion flavour of this preserve, which is jammy and easily spreadable with a spoon or knife. Serve it alongside curries, at barbecues, or in sandwiches and burgers.
