Herb Fed Chicken

Just over 10 years ago, husband-and-wife team Edward and Emma Wilkinson made the discovery that allowing their birds to peck through fresh herbs enhanced the taste and texture of the meat. Ever since, the North Yorkshire poultry producer has reared its birds on this nutrient-rich diet whilst adhering to a slow-growing ethos. This free-range chicken, with its succulent meat and depth of flavour, is a great advertisement for the herb-fed approach.
