The Jones family has been making lemon curd at home in North Wales since 1966, when it was a favourite treat for the farm workers to enjoy at tea time. Today, the family business still makes this smooth citrus preserve from butter, eggs, lemon, sugar and pectin, albeit in its Pwllheli jam factory. Spread it on crumpets, toast, muffins and fruit loaf, or use as a cake filling.
